We will meet in the building to the right of the Family Life Center.  Due to flooding in our area, the disaster relief team is housed in the FLC.  Setting up at 6:00pm for tying and good food! and Covered Dish Dinner!

Guest Speaker and Fly Demonstration by Howard Malpass and John and Mary Scarborough.  We're excited to have these friends join us for tying, food and fellowship!  Bring a friend!

Bring your tying equipment and supplies.  If you don't have a vise, we will make sure that you have one!

Bring your fishing report!

Natchitoches Fishing Expo - Sat., March 5th

The Cane Country Fly Casters are proud to host our 3rd-ever Natchitoches Fishing Expo - a celebration of Light Tackle and Fly Fishing - on Saturday, March 5th at the Natchitoches Events Center in downtown Natchitoches. Time is 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Admission is FREE!

Our biennial event offers activities for the whole family, with over 60 exhibitors and vendors, 40+ fly tiers from across the South, programs on all types of fishing (bass, crappie, saltwater, kayaking, fly fishing) as well as hands-on workshops for a nominal fee.  There's also silent auction with many one-of-a-kind items to raise money for the club's conservation projects.

The downtown Natchitoches area also offers lots of great local restaurants and unique shops.

Note: our scheduled speaker could not make it for this meeting.  We'll be discussing the upcoming Natchitoches Fishing Expo coming up on March 5th.  We'll also be tying a fly or two.

December 8th meeting

It's our Christmas meeting.  Doors open at 5:30 for casting and/or to set up your tying equipment.  Regular meeting will begin at 6:30.

We will have a FLY SWAP!  Tie your favorite 3+ flies for a swap. If you don't tie, this is a great time to watch and learn.  We will have plenty of flies to share with everyone.

We will have FOOD!  Bring something if you want, we will have enough for everyone.
