The Contraband Flycasters Fly Fishing Club of Lake Charles, LA will hold its annual Fly Fishing Expo on Saturday, September 17, 2011, at the Moss Bluff United Methodist Church Community Center located at 735 Sam Houston Jones Parkway, in Moss Bluff. The event will open at 9:00 AM and close at 4:00 PM. Admission is free to the public. Lunch will be offered for a nominal fee. Cold drinks, coffee and snacks will also be available.
Head-lining the event will be Mr. Keith Richard from Breaux Bridge, LA, Master Certified Casting Instructor, and owner/operator of “THE CAMP FLY FISHING SCHOOL” also located in Breaux Bridge. Mr. Richard will be displaying his noted fly-casting techniques beginning at 9:30AM in the Community Center. He will then be available in the afternoon for individual coaching. Arrangements for one-on-one instruction with Mr. Richard can be made upon registration at the Expo Registration Desk on Saturday morning, on a first come, first served basis.
